I have a large colony of 70 polyps of aussie rainbow acan I received a month ago. I was thinking of fragging but am scared on the pure value of the colony, i dont want to hurt it, but it would be cool to sell some frags of it on RC. Anyone have experience of actually doing this and not just reading about it. I found all the info on the rc forums but i would like someones first hand advice. Also do any of you know if you are supposed to dip lps frags in melifix like you have to for sps.

Toadstool leather

I gave in and chopped up my green toadstool AGAIN last night, my trigger has been nibbling here and there and yesterday took a couple chunks out so I thought I'd better do something to save it. I had it propped up on a different rock than the base was on and it had grown over that nicely so I basically hacked off the bottom and put that in my nanocube, than chopped half the cap off and tied that with fishing line to a rock and left the rest alone. Mr. Trigger has left a much smaller frag alone ...

War coral fragging

So I'm trying to figure out how to frag this sucker because I don't have a dremel. The rock it's grown on is an inch thick at least so I don't think I can break it without wrecking the coral. There's a frag plug in the middle I might be able to cut around and pop out, not sure.

Pic to see what the deal is, I'd like to make at least 4-5 frags and I need a little to hang on to. If someone has a dremel we could frag it at the swap also.
