I don't think I can do that....Or can I?

I forgot to mention at the meeting, that we should have "Fraging with Phil" added to the agenda. It might help draw people to the swap earlier.

Yeah. We should probably fill people in that were not at the Saturday meeting. We filled out the details a bit.

Food - Giovanni's take and bake. We'll make them right at the HSC. We're also going to try to get a deal on pop. Simple! Smile

Raffle - We're hoping people will bring in frags for the raffle. We'll put them in a tank and then draw names from those in the raffle. If you're name is called, you get to pick one. Raffle tickets will be $1 or $5 depending on what they're for. You can buy tickets for just items you're interested in. Tickets will be sold right up until the drawing and several people will be selling them. Cash and/or equipment donations are welcome as well. We'll use cash for gift ceritificates. The raffle earnings will be used to cover expenses and the rest will be a donation to the HSC.

There will also be a free will offering at the door for the Science Center. They are letting us use the space free of charge. This money will also go toward the 210 tank build. They can give a receipt for any frags you donate to their tank for tax purposes!! Hint Hint! Smile

I'll contact Ray to post pics on our forum so we can see what he's got for sale.

I'll contact Mary and Dustin to make sure they're still interested in joining us.

Agenda

12:00 - 12:45 social time and lunch

12:45 - 1:00 Fragging with Phil (he's going to frag our large candy cane colony and might be persuaded to frag stuff for other people too if they let him know ahead of time?)

1:00 - 2:00 Matt's talk (can't wait!)

2:00 - 3:00 Swap time

2:45 raffle drawing

We will also have a door prize. Everyone that comes and stops to sign in will be entered in for the door prize.

I have flyers done. Let me know if you want some to help distribute them.

Any other suggestions or questions?

Oh...I did it in printmaster. You probably need that to post it up here. I'll see if I can get one on here. If I save it as a different type of file, will it work?

I'll get you some hard copies, HD.

Cammie,

Email me a copy of the flyer, and I'll post a link to it. I can probably make it a PDF if it isn't already. RetroReef@gmail.com

I would be open to fragging something else in addition to the Candy Cane. But I would need to know before hand. If someone has a SPS that needs chopping, I can go over my prefered method of mounting that I was talking about at the meeting. Cammie, could you get me a picture of your tree acro, it would make a good example. Smile

Forgot to mention, we have a sound system for the swap. The guy's name is Wes. He and my brother started "Ntertainment" a number years ago, and Wes has taken over since my brother moved to Iowa. I told him that we probably only need one speaker and mic. If we need more, it wont be a problem.

I'm not going to justify that with a response.
