blastamossa placement

Post by tinkerman on Mon Jan 11, 2010 6:08 pm

Got one of the frags at the swap and not sure where it will do the best in the tank. best placed with like mushrooms or chalice or maybe acans. I have mushrooms and chalice in corners of tank and do really well and acans are bottom and up front. Any ideas guys or gals, got up to date pic in the tank build forum. Its the only coral that doesn't seem to be doing very well. Thanks

I've kept them from the bottom to half way up a 24" aquarium while using 150 watt halides. If the tentacles come out, try feeding it something until it looks healthier.

Generally they like low light lower flow so I would go for the corner bottoms myself, at least at first.

Thanks. Moved it to a corner. It appears the the flesh is receding, but will try and feed it. If its the only thing I lose from the swap I still ain't doing to bad.
