ACAN problems

My buddy Jeff, just got a acan (not sure what one). but he said it was looking great for 2 days and then it all of a sudden just died and he asked me if i knew anything about them, and no i do not. i thought maybe the placement for lighting may have been the couse. he has a 90 gl tank with 6 t-5 lighting (he got from SWE) and i believe his water parameters are good he is pretty perticilate on his stuff if any one has any info that would be cool.

Did it bleach out? Brown jelly? Seems crazy for it to be completely gone in 2 days. Did he place it on the bottom to acclimate?

It may have been on the way out to start with.

he said he got it from salt water empire and he placed it in the middle. i'm not sure yet what it did, if it bleached out or what but i will find out more this weekend.
