Do not Order from A company called Sea Corals out of NC!

I ordered two Coralife 3.125" aquarium cooling fans from this company and they arrived at my house two weeks later. On top of it he gave me Red Sea fans that are barley 2 1/8*2 and nothing like i ordered. Below is my first email to this company.


Hello,

I am very disappointed in your companies customer service. I placed my order on the 4th of February. You guys did not ship it till the 10th of February. It will not make it to my house until the 17th that’s a joke. I will NEVER order from you again. Plus you guys charge a handling fee and shipping. I have ordered from companies that don’t and it get to my house within a week. Now that’s customer service. Thanks, SaltReefer

If you truly find 4 business days as unacceptable when this part of the country is experiencing one of the worst winters in the last 25 years, then you are very correct that you should purchase elsewhere.


We work with 30 other online sellers, and I can assure you we are not the only ones with shipping delays outside of our control. As for the handling fee, it was clearly noted in the first place when you placed the order.

LMAO.worst winters in 25 years....I was shoveling without a jacket today. How is 28 degrees a bad winter?you should let him know that his "worst winter in 25 years" in a mid june day for us, AND WE STILL GET MAIL.

If its North Carolina Yea they probably are having the worst winter. i know Georgia is, but that doesn't mean we all are. I know one time i ordered live fish and the air line got grounded in tennesse at the fed ex delivery station and of course all the fish DEAD but fed ex was resposible and refunded my fish order.

28, thats what the lows have been in nc.peoples idea of "bad" is relative.

well but that would be us having 20 below without windchill, i would cut them a bit of slack, everyone has been getting just drilled and yes it is silly to order in the winter unless absolutely necessary.

IDK...I have a livestock order that is being held back at least a week because of nation wide shipping delays...there is perhaps some truth to what they are saying.

That said, getting the WRONG ITEMS is what tells me this is not someplace to shop. IDK..I'm feeling lucky/blessed that the average turnaround on a DFS Aquatics order is looking to be like 2 days now (being close to the source has its advantages).

I found out yesterday that the fans he sent me retail for 7.50 a piece and the fans i ordered he charged me 17.99. i emailed him and paypal and neither would refund my money.

If you paid with paypal file a dispute...show what you ordered on the website vs whathe sent you...if not then do a chargeback with your credit card company you use to fund the paypal account

I filed a dispute with the bank. I also file one with the BBB against Seacorals.
