I know, I wish I could have gone. Did you win anything at all?

make sure you dip your sps from tcmas. lots of aefw and red bugs in that club. remember unless you dip them multiple times"i suggest tropic pro marine coral cure and interceptor in a seperate system you are at risk. I just dont ever want people to make the mistakes i have with acros. It is not a joke, lots of people have them and im willing to bet most dont even know. I lost at least 500 dollars in acro due to thinking i can trust people. i guess that is my two cents for easter, good luck!!

I Agree with Andre watch the Acros I usually try to always get fresh cuts from other reefers over there,or from anywhere for that matter with fresh cut corals if you treat before adding to the tank you'll more then likely nip them in the but, most Nudi's and red bugs lay there eggs near the base of the coral or in the rock just below the base of the coral.

I can honestly tell you from now on i will never put a acro in my tank without having it in quarintine with a minimum of 4 dips. The dips never seem to kill the eggs. Li and fritz at swe tried to warn me when i started and even warned me of the bugs in the club. People just dont get how serious it can be until you have to rip your tank apart.

it is disheartening to think people pass these bugs on from one to another. Now think if people knew they did it, those are what i would call friends.

Thanks Andre and Jim for warning Dan. This is the kind of stuff I like to see our club doing. Dan, hope you have no problems from the frags you got there and can't wait to see the pics!

you probably wont have any problems and chances are your corals are clean like ice said, fresh cuts avoid possibilities of eggs. Not everyone has them and maybe there is barely any that do, it is just good practice to try and keep your tank clean.
