Been testing to solve the problem with SPS RTN and whiting of the coral.

I finally found the solution. The problem with this bacteria system is that it consume lot of the same element that the coral also need. The one I found that bring the SPS back from death is Potassium.

I keep the level way above the normal level. I uses the Red Sea Product.
I also keep alk and cal in more stable level via two parts dosing.

Going to automate Kalk dosing too to keep ph and cal and alk high and for phospate reduction.

My Nitrate is 0 and phospate still hang around .2 and .1 range. I added phospate reactor to drive it lower.


The only remaining issue is I have is low PH.

Still SPS growth and color is great.

I will post more when I see more changes to my system, but as now I am busy stocking my tank with High quality SPS Frags.
