What do I get a aqua lite controller or more lights?

I have a 90 gallon tank with, birdsnest, catctus, montiporas, favias, chalaice. I was wondering what is more important lighting wich I only have 4 t-5's or a controller that shuts off the heater if it breaks down, or keeps it at right temp???? The rock work only goes just a little past half way up my tank.

Get the controller. I just about last my tank do to a heater that stoped working
