They are getting hard to find these days, LiveAquaria and Dr. Mac usually have some available, what kind are you looking for?

Re: Where to buy clams?
Come to Fargo and go to Pets R Inn and talk to Shaun. He usually has clams in the store and they are usually realy nice colorful ones too. Honestly the price at the store compared to online with shipping isn't all that much difference.
I may be able to toss you a frag if you come to town as well just to make it worth your trip. From your pic it looks like you have leathers, so you may like my bright green (possibly palau) nepthia. I haven't cut that one yet and I need to get a frag out there for insurance frags anyway...

Re: Where to buy clams?
What's the easiest clam to keep? Maximas get really large don't they? Joyce, I'd start out with one and see how that goes if I were you. That's a lot of money to spend on a critter you're new to IMO. Do you test calcium? They need/use a lot calcium so you'll need to really keep an eye on that. I did a little research on them before and after our last swap but had a hard time determining which was easiest for a "starter". We lost ours which was crocea when our heater quit.
