I hate seeing frags like this

They make our swap vendor's prices look pretty awesome don't they? I honestly feel that most any frag I haven't tried is a risk for me. It's likely going to change color at least somewhat. I'm not paying that kind of price for a risk.

I like when people sell their "colonies" that haven't even overgrown the frag plugs they are on too. Or when the excuse is it's really slow growing. Great, I get to pay a fortune for a tiny hunk that's going to look like a fingernail for the next year. I'm patient, if there's stuff I like, I just wait it out. If your only interest in something is how rare or expensive it is, you probably aren't going to hang onto it long term anyways so why bother? Some of those online vendors are just nuts with pricing and names.

Our vendor prices are pretty decent, some nice looking zoas for sure, wish they didn't hate my tank. I know we'll probably end up getting a chalice or two but can't really decide what ones yet.

I have a zoanthid that will grow in your tank, that isn't as nasty taking over as steel blues, you can try. Its chocolate colored with a blue mouth. They grow for me, but don't seem to want to leave the plug. They've literally grown on the plug to be about 60+ of them.
