New doggie!!

Thursday we drove all the way down to Eau Claire to meet a dog we'd been looking at online and with Jersey's approval brought him home. His name was Bart but only for the month he was at the shelter, before that he was a stray. So now he is Nero instead!

He's got some training to be done, no more jumping on people, digging in the trash and getting used to the crate but besides being a whiner and a youngster he's pretty well behaved. Going in to get fixed in the next week or two also.

Those things are nasty just hanging there. Ewww! I don't need no slobbering fool because the mutt down the street isn't fixed. I think he'll be just a much of a hunk without them. Went on a long walk today, it was actually pretty decent out, yesterday we were getting snowed on and went home pretty quick. Them pups don't have much hair.

I don't know much about dogs but, they must be the same breed but two different colors? I like both colors and especially together. They'll be such good buds.

Yeah they are both American Pit Bull Terriers as far as we can tell, no papers though. Jersey is blue brindle and Nero is red. They both have that cute white stripe up their noses and white chest though. My mom thinks Nero doesn't look as "mean" because he's got ears.
