You can order the nori pretty cheap online.... Seafishin if you can move the sand out of the way and get the rocks down on the glass you can usually aquascape with pretty good stability ... Turkey basters work well for cleaning off dust debris.... Very Happy

think I may mess again with the aquascaping this weekend. Ive got plenty of rock for now, but it would be better if I could increase the sand bed size by stacking rocks better. As it is now, it might be hard to clean them... Cant decide if I wanna take out the pvc risers. I think its harder to get stability with them, than on the glass bottom...

I tryed using the pvc and it was not very stable. I would do what Karl said if you can move the sand and set your base rocks on the glass and then build from there it will be alot more stable. just for the fact if you have any movement in your sand with the rocks on top of the sand bed it could cause a collapse of the aquascape.

I just stacked my rocks on the sand (I"ve got 3-4 inches of sand) i thought of making some kind of shelf thing to put my rocks on. just havent done it yet and now not sure if i will.

Yeah seafishin if you can move he sand and get the rocks to the bottom you can aquascape with pretty good stability unless you belive in keeping them off the bottom but I've never understood this theory ... A turkey baster works great for cleaning off debris and waste from the rock ....photobucket is a great host ... but no rush on pics lol
