the only thing that worries me is the zoas are shaded a bit by the rock on top of them so i might shift it a little yet.

here are some day 2 pics everything has opened up and i feed the anemone(sp?) some brine shrimp it seemed to like them.

You may want to feed that anemone every couple of days for awhile. It's looking whitish again. It should be darker than that. It was that way for us for a long time until a fellow reefer told us to feed it more. I hadn't had the lights on regularly since the swap so that probably has something to do with it too though.

I'm glad the little crab made it. I hadn't seen it when I took the tank down so wasn't sure he was still kickin. They're so cool!

he made it quite well i rearanged it a little today to get better flow and more light to a couple of the corals. should i feed him brine shrimp or?

If he took it, that's great. I know some people buy silversides for theirs. They're just little fish frozen all together in a lump. We've been feeding it homemade food. I"ll find some threads about it. We've chatted about it on this forum a couple of times and I wonder if GoingPostal has ever used her blender after we made some at her meeting a little over a year ago. LOL

Lol! I have used the blender again, I made some more fish food in it a couple months ago! However it's broken and leaked all over the floor. Which smelled really awesome I'll have you know, thought I'd never get it out of the kitchen. I do have a brand new smoothie maker that will not be used for fish food making purposes ever.

Back on topic, I've tried squirting food at the nem I got from Andre and it doesn't seem to have grabbed any. It does appear to be maybe splitting though. Do you guys put food right on them?

Ya I take a whole silver side and put it right in there and he takes it.

i used a turkey baster and squirted them right into him he wrapped up a few and ate them the clown was not happy lol.

That clown will share food with the nem but I think it should be fed more. It seemed happiest when it got nice sized chunks of meaty foods...maybe 1/2" square or so. Their tentacles are sticky. It seems like all you have to do is touch the food to them and they'll make sure it gets to their mouth.

i hand feed him a silver side tonight he seemed to love it and gained more color after. i am realy enjoying this thanks blennie.
