My schtuff
Here is my 65g mixed reef. It's an upstairs/downstairs system; all the equipment is in the basement below.
Let's see if I can remember what schtuff I have!
65g AGA display, 100g rubbermaid stock tub sump, ASM G2 skimmer with sedra 5000 pump, 20g long refugium, lights are DIY 6x39w T5 HO w/ind reflectors, uh...Reeflo Barracuda return pump, controlled with a Neptune ACJr, GEO kalkwasser reactor, JBJ ATO controller. Automated wc system (kinda).
Here's the display back in March

Re: My schtuff
Thanks! My hubby didn't like the idea of lots of water on the main floor of the house. This was actually HIS idea. I was all ready to have the usual sump/refuge under the tank in the stand.
I'm real glad I went along with him. Water changes are very easy. I don't have to lift anything. AUT-O-MAT-IC baby!

Re: My schtuff
Beautiful tank but I think there is something wrong with me because I always like to look at fishrooms more than the acctual tank...hold on the refugium is a tank so I am looking a tank I can be like Love the tank and the room it's in!
...once my roomate leaves I'm turning my basement into a fishroom!

Re: My schtuff
Thanks, everyone. It's a really low-tech space. I didn't want lots of doo-dads and whatnots.
The water changes are accomplished with maxi-jet 1200's that are on switched outlets.
I do have a media reactor (two little fishies) that can't be seen in the picture. It hangs on the end of the refuge. That's where I run the carbon and row-a-phos.
Also not seen in the picture is a 10g tank that serves a dual purpose. Most of the time I house sw feeder shrimp and fish for my angler fish, and if I have a sick fish I then convert it to a hospital tank.
