I love this hobby

Post by Jamesmreef on Sat Jul 25, 2009 11:42 pm

I was looking at my tank after my sons birthday party and noticed a new addition to my small aquadic family. To add to the one brown polyp and one button mushroom I have. The tank has began to sprout 3 feather dusters. The amazement and wonder in my kids eyes when they saw them for the first time was priceless. This tank has been the best investment for my family I have made in a long time. I wish everyone could experience this hobby.

Lol! Now every time I find something I can't identify, I'm on all the reef sites trying to figure out if it's safe or if I need to rip it out of there. Anyone seen those giant clam eating flatworms before? Couple people on RC have had them, they are huge and terrifying looking. My worst has been zoa spiders for sheer creepiness.

Feather dusters are cool though, just wait, I have the kind that spread everywhere, they are in the strangest spots. I used to have a large hawaiian one and my mom thought it was great fun to scare it back into the tube. lol!
