Some new shots

Post by GoingPostal on Mon Nov 09, 2009 9:08 pm

So my 12 gallon is getting more than a little cramped, might be buying Danielle's tank off them, a 24 gallon which would be good. Mr. Trigger has been sampling the few things we left in the 135, like gsp and my green toadstool so not safe to move anything I like in there. Anyways onto pics!

Acan land, they need space!

Chalice I bought at the frag swap, was pink then but now is blue with pink around the eyes, I can't get a good shot of the color though

World's slowest growing chalice, still doing nothing! James won't let me sell it or it would be gone.

My balano, all the tiny tiny baby polyps that were on it when it was purchased have really grown up, should have a sweet colony down the line.

And a creepy crawly to freak everyone out

Love the tanks and the creppy crawly is awsome. Kind of wish we still had our rainbow boa.

Ooooh, you had a rainbow? Brazilian? I so almost got one last month but it didn't pan out, they are so pretty! Now that I am breeding my own mice I'm looking into adding to the snake collection.

Yes I think it was a Brazilian we had it about 7 years ago and it was very pretty and very calm.

Nice, as always. Love the slow growing chalice. I can see why James won't let you sell it.

Balanophyllia, bought that one off Diver's Den. It was one main polyp but when it arrived had 7 super small little babies around the edge and now is popping out more. Interesting considering it was believed they don't reproduce asexually. Apparently my corals are confused, the balano is budding and my dendro has yet to do squat after 2+ years. I'm a big fan of non-photo lps, so easy to keep and fun to feed! They seem to be growing quite fast, if I frag it down the line they will go to members here. They are a little pickier about opening than my rhizo/dendro are, really have to find a spot they like.
